Harriet Smith, Physiotherapist

About

Hi, I'm Harriet.

I'm passionate about helping people of all ages and activity levels move well and enjoy life — from children to seniors, recovering from injury, managing pain, or simply wanting to move with confidence again. Whatever your goal, your treatment is tailored to you.

Outside the clinic, I'm a lifelong runner. I've represented Australia at the World Mountain Running Championships, and completed my studies while competing as a student athlete in the NCAA system in the US. Those experiences as an athlete are what drew me into healthcare and physiotherapy — I have a particular interest in injury prevention, load management in young athletes, and safe, structured rehabilitation that's athlete-centred and sport-specific.

I'm also an active member of Noosa Heads SLSC, where I enjoy training, competing, and working with water-based athletes across surfing, swimming and paddling disciplines.

My approach combines thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, and evidence-based exercise rehab, with a strong focus on educating you so you can manage your recovery confidently — in and out of the clinic. I also work closely with GPs, sports physicians, surgeons and other allied health practitioners to ensure coordinated care when it's needed.
